AssembleDebug and Android Authority did an investigation of the Google Play Store apk (version 41.7.16-31) and found that Google is developing an enhancement that shows app ratings for various devices without requiring users to tap on specific icons. The new beta version makes it easier to view ratings, which are currently accessed by touching on the respective device icon.
App ratings will now show up next to the device-specific buttons, saving you from having to tap on them to view individual ratings. Because fewer taps are needed to acquire this information, the user saves time. Although the functionality is currently only available in the Play Store beta version and is not yet available to all users, it is anticipated that this adjustment would enhance the user experience.
