Speaking Thai to Google is now possible for people in Thailand. According to the search engine giant, voice commands and queries in Thai are now understood by the Google Search app.
It required 700 volunteers and four years for Google (GOOG) to make voice input in Thai available to the general public. The Google Search app for Android and phones with Google Now now have this additional functionality for Thai. This new language will be added later to the Google Chrome and iOS versions.

The 47th language that Google has added is Thai. In 2011, the service was launched in both Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia. As of July of last year, the Filipino language was officially adopted in the Philippines.
