A new beta program has been extended to users of the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 LTE and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra smartwatches. Candidates who pass must test the eSIM activation process and receive the most recent Wear OS 3 update. Moreover, there is a supposed easter egg in the software.
To participate in a new Wear OS 3 software beta program, Mobvoi is presently inviting owners of its TicWatch Pro 3 LTE and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra smartwatches. The E3 wearable has recently received an update, making these the brand's newest wearables to start receiving the new operating system.
An official from the company stated on Facebook that they were seeking clients who would be willing to test the eSIM activation procedure. Users do not need to activate the eSIM, according to Mobvoi, but doing so is recommended. Orange France, Vodafone Germany, Vodafone Spain, and Vodafone UK are the four recommended suitable SIM operators. Mobvoi also mentioned a small easter egg in the update, though it's not quite clear what it is.
Furthermore, it's important to note that users who decide to install this beta update will experience a temporary loss of Google Pay functionality. In order to participate in the beta testing, users must fill out a questionnaire. Only 200 users will be accepted for testing at this early stage, and those who pass will receive the update within 24 hours. The exact date of the Wear OS 3 public rollout for all Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 LTE and Pro 3 Ultra smartwatches is still unknown.
