Apple last week released a teaser for its upcoming 2024 Black Unity collection for the Apple Watch, which will come with a new watch face and band. Users are now able to access the new Unity Bloom watch face thanks to the company's release of watchOS 10.3.
According to Apple, the new design is a representation of pan-Africanism and the harmony that arises from generations of people coming together to confront injustices. With the same abstract flower design, the Unity Bloom Apple Watch face is a new analog face. Customers can select full-bloom or a single flower style. The flowers open up and fill in when the wrist is raised.
The latest Sport Band is black with vibrant flowers in shades of red, green, and yellow strewn all over it. A unique layering process used during the manufacturing process gives each band its own distinct look. The band's pin is engraved with the words "Truth, Power, Solidarity."
WatchOS 10.3 includes bug fixes, security patches, and enhanced stability in addition to the new Unity Bloom watch face. This update contains no other new features.
Users can install watchOS 10.3 directly from their Apple Watch by going to Settings > General > Software Update, or by using the Watch app on their iPhone. Note that an Apple Watch Series 4 or later is required to use watchOS 10.3.
Apple is now rolling out iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 for iPhone and iPad users, which also include a new Unity Bloom wallpaper.
