The GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate Is Not Totally Out Of The Picture

  • 08-January-2024

It's not completely impossible that the 2024 GMC Acadia will come with a Denali Ultimate trim level. At the Detroit Auto Show, The General unveiled the 2024 model year Acadia, revealing a completely redesigned third generation vehicle that resumes full-size dimensions.

Concurrently, GMC has been progressively introducing the Denali Ultimate trim, which sits above Denali, as the top trim level available on all of its full-size, body-on-frame models. As of right now, only the GMC Yukon, GMC Sierra 1500, GMC Sierra HD, and GMC Yukon XL are eligible for the Denali Ultimate. That begs the question, though, of whether a 2024 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate is planned.

Alex Luft, Executive Editor of GM Authority, knew exactly what he wanted to learn.

Katherine Weber, the marketing manager for GMC Acadia, told Luft in a recent interview that while "we can't speak to future product, we're constantly looking at it," According to Weber, "We're considering all of our options for expanding on new features and content." As a result, the Acadia Denali Ultimate is not completely ruled out, but rather remains a possibility.

With the release of the new generation Acadia, which brings the vehicle back to full size, an Acadia Denali Ultimate would make an intriguing addition to the lineup of trim levels. The cabin would probably have Ultimate badging, cutting-edge technology and convenience features, Alpine Umber leather with a darker treatment for the cabin accents, and other details seen in other Denali Ultimate models.

There would undoubtedly be a cost for these upscale appointments. The base Elevation trim of the 2024 GMC Acadia is anticipated to start at about $39,000, while the (Elevation) Premium and AT4 trims will cost $43,000 and $45,000, respectively, and the currently top-of-the-line Denali will cost $52,000.

The price of the 2024 Acadia Denali Ultimate, should it be introduced as a fifth trim level, is probably going to be $5,000 to $10,000 more than that of the Denali.

Production of the brand-new GMC Acadia crossover utility vehicle will take place at the GM Lansing Delta Township facility, and it will go on sale early in 2024. Before the first units come off the assembly line, exact pricing and other information will be available.
