The first update of 2024 for the Garmin Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro, Epix 2, Enduro 2, MARQ Gen 2, Quatix 7, and Tactix 7 smartwatches includes almost 25 enhancements and new features

Beta Version 16.10 for the Fenix 7 series has been released by Garmin, which earlier this year released a number of stable updates for the same smartwatches. For background, soon after its beta release, the company sent v15.74, which included almost fifty changes, to the smartwatches Epix 2, Enduro 2, Fenix 7, MARQ Gen 2, Quatix 7, and Tactix 7. Then it released v15.76 and v15.77, which were both bug-fix versions.

In contrast, after the release of Beta Version 15.74 in late November, Garmin has begun its next public beta testing phase for the Fenix 7 series and its peers with the release of Beta Version 16.10. Not surprisingly, Garmin has made a lot of changes in its initial v16.xx build. Nine of the 24 changes listed in the changelog for Beta Version 16.10 are new features. This build also includes updated firmwares for the Sensor Hub, GPS, and Wireless, which are v7.02, v28.09, and v28.10, respectively.

However, updating Audio Prompts necessitates downloading new files related to those changes. According to Garmin's forum post, these Audio Prompt files are only available for download after an eligible smartwatch has been updated to Beta Version 16.10. The following is the complete changelog for Beta Version 16.10:
