Online information regarding Garmin's upcoming line of smartwatches has surfaced thanks to several official support listings. The initial retailer has also disclosed the UK launch price for the identical smartwatches.
Fitness Tracker Test has found listings for a number of upcoming smartwatches from Garmin. It looks like Garmin is getting ready to release new Lily-branded models, which it last updated with new color options earlier this year, as the image below illustrates. Still, more than two years have gone by since Garmin debuted its initial Lily smartwatches.
Naturally, Garmin intends to release successors like the Lily 2. As reported by Fitness Tracker Test, references to six variants were found on a Spanish Garmin support page, which lends greater credence to their legitimacy than listings from independent retailers would have.
According to information released thus far, Garmin has produced two versions that will be marketed as the Sport Edition and the Classic Edition.
Although the underlying hardware of both devices is probably the same, Garmin will differentiate them with various strap types and finishes.
The Watch Hut has already listed one example of the Lily 2 series for £249 on its website, though it is unclear when Garmin will release it. If that pricing is correct, Garmin has raised the Lily by a small amount from its launch price of £229.99 for the Classic Edition and £199.99 for the Sports Edition.
