The Galaxy Watch's Galaxy AI functions have been formally unveiled by Samsung. It was stated that the upcoming Galaxy Watch lineup will include One UI 6 Watch along with these new features. Energy Score and Wellness Tips are the two new features added to Galaxy AI. AI will also be used by the group to enhance health insights and algorithms.
In order to bring new features and other enhancements, Samsung will integrate Galaxy AI with Samsung Health. A new tool called Energy Score will provide consumers a better understanding of their everyday condition. It will calculate a score based on a number of personal health variables, including average sleep duration, consistency in sleep and wakefulness, activity level the day before, heart rate variability, and sleep heart rate.
Samsung is currently working on a second AI service for Galaxy Watch users, called Wellness Tips. In order to assist users in reaching their fitness objectives, it will provide motivating advice, advice based on fitness goals, and insights.
According to Samsung, AI will be used to enhance its sleep AI system. Now that movement, heart rate, respiration rate, and sleep latency have been included, it will provide more detailed insights into sleep as well as new sleep markers.
The team is adding new metrics to the existing five running intensity levels for customers who enjoy running: Aerobic Threshold (AT) / Anaerobic Threshold (AnT) Heart Rate Zone measurements. In just ten minutes, Samsung will enable cyclists to determine their Functional Threshold Power (FTP) statistic.
A new AI function called Workout Routine will allow users to mix and match different activities to accomplish specific goals. Additionally, it will make it simpler to switch between exercises without pausing. By comparing their present and historical performances on the same outdoor routes, runners and cyclists can use the new Race function to monitor their progress.
According to Samsung, the upcoming Galaxy Watch series will include new Galaxy AI functions. This is probably referring to the Galaxy Watch 7 series that has been said to be coming out in the upcoming months.
In addition to One UI 6 Watch, these improvements will be available soon. During the beta testing period in June, a select group of Galaxy Watch owners will get early access to these.
