Qualcomm set to Unveil Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC on March 18th in China

Qualcomm has planned a gathering in China for March 18. The chipmaker hasn't disclosed what products it will be releasing, but it's possible that it will unveil the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. According to reports, this chipset will have a Cortex-X4 core and an architecture akin to that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. A few upcoming flagships, including those from companies like Realme, will include the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.

On March 18, new Qualcomm Chipsets are Anticipated

  • On March 18, Qualcomm is anticipated to introduce the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset at a gathering in China.
  • One 3.01GHz Cortex-X4, four 2.61GHz Cortex-A720, and three 1.84GHz Cortex-A520 CPUs are reportedly paired with the chipset.
  • The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and this new chip may have similar architectures, although the Adreno 735 GPU may be available.
  • The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 may be unveiled by Qualcomm during the event.
  • Similar hardware, including a single 2.8GHz Cortex-X4, four sub-2.6GHz Cortex-A720s, three sub-1.9GHz Cortex-A520s, and an Adreno 732 GPU, may be used in this configuration.
  • The GPU performance is reportedly comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the chipset reportedly received a 1.5 million AnTuTu score.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) SoC may be found in the Realme Neo 6 SE, while the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC may be found in the Realme GT Neo 6. In addition to Realme, other smartphones with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 include the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 series phone, and the VivoPad 3.

With the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a Xiaomi phone bearing the model number 24053PY09C was certified by TENAA. The Xiaomi Civi 4 may be this. Another SoC option for the OnePlus Ace 3V is the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. The chipset should reveal more information in the coming days.
