OnePlus Watch 2 debuts in Nordic Blue, Featuring an Exclusive hue and Pricing

  • 24-April-2024

The Nordic Blue Edition of OnePlus' flagship Wear OS device, the Watch 2, has just been released with the most recent version. Although none of these features are related to its specifications, the wearable has launched with features that set it apart from the existing standard variants.

With its premium stainless steel construction and eagerly anticipated Wear OS release, the OnePlus Watch 2 is still marketed as "Your Partner in Time"; however, it can now fulfill that role in an entirely new manner.

While the new Nordic Blue Edition was first hailed as a "EU Exclusive," it is now accessible in the UK. A lighter gray case than the original Radiant Steel option and a new blue "genuine leather" band with white stitching give it a "refined Scandinavian" appearance.

It is also the only SKU with a blue-finished chronograph as opposed to a blank bezel.

It still sports a sapphire-reinforced glass cover for its round "XL" AMOLED display, which is housed in a OnePlus 12-matching face. The Watch 2 is powered by a dual-processor setup that can run it for up to 100 hours at a time.

All other Watch 2 variants are available in "limited quantities" for €349/£299, while the standard SKUs are only available in "limited quantities" for €299/£269 (or $299.99 on Amazon).

However, at launch, users could also select between a free gift of an additional charging puck, a pair of Buds 3, or an extra flouroelastomer band. Given that the second-generation OnePlus Watch lacks wireless charging, the latter option may be the best one available.
