One of the most requested features may soon be added to Google Password Manager

The process of changing from one of the greatest password managers to another can be straightforward, but it can also be unduly complex. This is especially true if you are unable to swiftly remove all of your stored passwords from the password manager you are attempting to replace.

Thankfully, Android Authority recently revealed that they discovered code traces in the Google Play Services v25.02.32 APK breakdown, which appears to suggest that Google is developing a method to introduce a "Delete all data" button feature in a future release.

Google may soon provide a function that would enable users to swiftly remove all saved credentials from Google Password Manager, according to code seen in the beta for Google Play Services v25.02.32. This feature is not yet operational, and it's unclear when it will be made generally available, if at all.

Users can currently remove saved passkeys and passwords, but they have to do it one at a time. There are a few fixes, which are described below, but they require erasing all of your Chrome data.

For users who wish to remove entries from the service because they have decided to stop using it or are switching to a different one, a "Delete all data" button would be useful. You might need to manually delete hundreds of accounts because Google Password Manager can save usernames and passwords from Chrome and Android apps.

Here are two alternatives to consider if you would like to try a workaround for clearing up all of your Chrome passwords:

To begin, navigate to Google Chrome > Settings > Privacy and Security > Delete browsing data (all) to remove all of your browsing data for the "all" timeframe.

An alternative is to use the "delete data" option at chrome.google.com/sync. However, once more, doing so will erase all of your data—including passwords—from Chrome.

However, since this much-anticipated Google Password Manager feature may be arriving sooner rather than later, your best bet right now might be to wait.
