The business Amazfit, a global manufacturer of smart wearables, said on Thursday that the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity smartwatch will debut in India on May 19. The business also said that the next wristwatch will have more than 120 sports modes, a huge 1.91-inch AMOLED display, and Zepp OS 3.0, which is based on artificial intelligence.
In addition to over 120 sports modes and health tracking capabilities like stress detection, sleep analysis, and customizable watch faces, the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity is expected to have a 300mAh battery that lasts for up to 11 days.
Zepp Aura and the voice assistant Amazon Alexa will work with the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity. Furthermore, with popular fitness-tracking applications like Adidas Running, Strava, Google Fit, and countless others, users may share their everyday activities with communities.
At $59.99 (about around Rs 5,000) and £69.99 (nearly Rs 7,330), respectively, the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity is currently available for purchase in both the UK and the US. The future smartwatch's Indian price is yet unknown, though. Before the launch, Amazfit is likely to tease the price and color options.
Zepp Aura will be included in the smartwatch's debut, according to CP Khandelwal, CEO of PR Innovation and Amazfit's brand custodian in India, who made the announcement on X, formerly Twitter.
As per Khandelwal's recent post on X, the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity is expected to come with Zepp OS 3.0 and support more than 70 downloadable apps that cover various categories like as productivity, social media, fitness, and more. The watch will also feature SpO2 tracking capabilities in addition to a real-time heart rate sensor.
