Now, The Date Is Displayed On Google Weather

Google Weather now shows the date in the 10-day forecast, but this is not the improvement that many were hoping for.

The forecast used to only display the day, such as today, Sunday, Monday, etc. Even though there was never truly any misunderstanding, once the week has passed, it's a strange decision.

Google Weather now displays the day and date to help with long-term planning. This update appears to have been released with Google App 12.25.

Google Weather hasn't undergone any significant improvements since its revamp in 2023. The "app" continues to use the original set of weather icons even after the Pixel widgets and At a Glance have been changed. Google, however, recently removed the Weather app's unique icon.

It was hoped that Google will gradually enhance Weather last year. Prior to that, there was a redesign of the Google Material Theme, which coincided with the release of the initial Material You redesigns.

Google Weather would benefit from becoming separate software rather than a component of the Google app. Currently, it uses first-party forecasting methods. Radar and more widgets are two features that would be really helpful.
