The 29th of this month will see the release of Bubblegum, a Gen Z love story starring Roshan Kanakala, the son of Rajeev and Suma Kanakala.
In his interview with us, the young man discloses that he has been passionate about acting since he was thirteen.
"My early years were spent attending my grandparents' acting classes. Making advertisements with my mum was fun. I went to my grandfather's acting classes. His final pupil was me. I picked up various acting techniques from him. I attended acting classes elsewhere as well."
Roshan declared that he is open to playing a variety of roles rather than just leading ones.
"If something excites me, I've no qualms to play other roles other than lead actor."
When he first listened to the story, he claims he connected with the character right away.
"Ravikanth is the kind of director who wants to work with actors who are appropriate for the roles he writes." Maybe he thought I would be a good fit for the part I played in Bubblegum. Many aspects of the character resonate with me in terms of my own personality."
Bubblegum, according to Roshan, is essentially a love story.
"Everyone can relate to some of the points made. Good dose emotions are also present. In the interval, there was a very intense moment that, as far as I can tell, nobody touched."
According to the actor, his parents saw the film and thought it was fantastic.
"Nana broke down in tears and caused a scene at one point. Mom enjoyed it as well."
Maanasa Choudhary played the lead role in the film, which was produced by Maheshwari Movies in collaboration with People Media Factory.
