Lem 3 NFC: Certified ECG, HRV, and AMOLED Smartwatches at a Low Cost are Introduced

  • 29-March-2024

Although this is limited to specific parameters, there is a new model variant of the Lem 3 that has multiple improvements and is even purportedly certified.

An enhanced Lem 3 model, the Lem 3 NFC, is available from Lemfofit. Certification from the CFDA is supposed to attest to the accuracy of the ECG and the dependability of the heart rate variability measurement. No FDA certification is present; this is referring to the China Food and Drug Administration.

As previously demonstrated, it is feasible to measure heart rate variability precisely and even low-cost smartwatches can generate useful ECGs. This functionality, which enables inferences about stress levels, for example, is present in a lot of other smartwatches.

Its functionality is probably severely limited to unlocking smart door locks, which is the main use case for the marketed NFC feature. There is now a 1.85-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 400 x 454 on the smartwatch.

The watch is composed of plastic, zinc alloy, and glass that has been hardened. Use while swimming is prohibited due to the IP67 rating, and the standby time is reportedly up to 15 days.

On the right side, there's a rotating crown. The watch has the ability to record activity throughout the day and answer calls right from it. It is said that the Lem 3 NFC has over 100 distinct sports profiles. It costs $50 to purchase directly from the manufacturer. Shipping is at no cost.
