Lava is probably working on releasing its first smartwatch for Indian customers in an effort to compete with other companies that provide reasonably priced smartwatches in the country. The business hasn't yet released any formal information regarding the upcoming wristwatch. But a tipster has provided some important details about it, like the cost and certain features.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, Lava is preparing to release its smartwatch, which is expected to cost about Rs 4,000.

The smartwatch with a tip is allegedly designed with the Indian market in mind and will incorporate artificial intelligence.

As of right now, no further information regarding the upcoming Lava smartwatch is available. The company is expected to release official information shortly.

This will be a big change for the domestic brand if the information is true. Up till now, Lava has been recognized for offering low-end phones and smartphones. On the other hand, they will be joining a market already populated by a number of other phone companies, including Xiaomi, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, and Vivo.

Furthermore, it's critical to remember that Indian smartwatch brands with a large user base already include Noise, boAt, and Fire-Boltt.

According to a recent report by Counterpoint, a market research firm, Fire-Boltt holds a 30 percent share and secured the top spot in the Indian smartwatch market in 2023.

With respective market shares of 25% and 17%, Noise and boAt secured the second and third spots, trailing closely behind.

A 120Hz curved AMOLED display and 5G connectivity are expected to be features of the upcoming device. that the primary camera will be a 64MP Sony sensor.
