Huawei Releases Updates for Two Smartwatch Models

New software is on the way for the Huawei Watch 3 Series and Watch Fit 3 wearables. For the updated Watch Fit 3 wearable, HarmonyOS 4.2 update version 4.2.0.150 is available. The Watch 3 is still running an outdated operating system, though, according to the most recent update.

Updates for Huawei's Watch 3 series and newly released Watch Fit 3 smartwatches are being released. HarmonyOS 3 is still in use on the Watch 3, even though the Watch Fit 3 gets updated to HarmonyOS 4.2.

The Watch 3 Series is 278 MB in size with version 3.0.0.174(C432E4R1P4). Only one software update has been made, according to the release notes: a more stable system in "some situations." Sadly, Huawei hasn't indicated where customers may find these updates.

Additionally, it's uncertain when or if Huawei will release HarmonyOS 4.2 for this wearable. The Watch Ultimate and the Watch GT 4 are two other models that have already received the most recent OS update.

Less fascinating is the upgrade for the Huawei Watch Fit 3. Similar to version 4.2.0.139(C00M00), which may discussed earlier in May, version 4.2.0.150(C00M00) seems to be the same. The same two optimizations—improving display layouts and boosting system stability—are noted in the changelog.

Through the Huawei Health app, you will be able to obtain the most recent updates. It's unclear, though, if they're going out more gradually in stages or are currently accessible to all users.
