Huawei Introduces Upgraded Huawei Watch 4 Pro Special Edition with Enhanced Features

Amidst recent leaks, the official announcement of the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration smartwatch has taken place in China. The model is made of a variety of high-quality materials and has a design in red, black, and dark gray. Additionally, compared to the original watch model, the wearable boasts a number of feature upgrades.

China has witnessed the release of Huawei's Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration smartwatch. Dark gray and red make up the design of the new model, which was leaked a few days ago. The device has a black nano microcrystalline ceramic bezel with two tones, and the Laval nozzle pattern on the crown was inspired by a rocket engine design.

In order to improve wear and scratch resistance, the aerospace-grade titanium of the Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration watch also has a coating resembling diamonds. The watch features a 1.5-inch AMOLED LTPO screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, just like the standard model. Apart from the design modifications, there are multiple feature enhancements. The health report's version 2.0 has 13 biometrics, up from version 1.0's 10.There are 13 biometrics in version 2.0 of the health report as opposed to 10 in version 1.0.

The new features include risk assessment for hyperglycemia, detection of sleep apnea, and analysis of pulse wave arrhythmias. The Ultra Wide Band (UWB) car key is an additional feature that comes with the original model in addition to the Bluetooth and NFC car controls. The smartwatch also has maps, eSIM, WeChat, and contactless payment capabilities. With normal use, the watch lasts 4.5 days; in ultra-long battery life mode, it lasts up to 12 days.

For 4,999 yuan (~$690), you can pre-order the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration smartwatch in China, even though it will only be available for official launch on April 12. In contrast, the retail price of the current model featuring the Mars Titanium Strap in China is 3,999 yuan, or roughly $550, and in Germany it is €649, or roughly $700. The new smartwatch edition's potential release date and/or country of sale are unknown.
