Google Extends Circle's search Features To Fresh Galaxy Foldables

Along with its most recent Galaxy Watch 7 series and a slew of other items, Samsung has unveiled their new foldables. These new gadgets, like the majority of its offerings, have Google AI in addition to Galaxy AI. The search engine behemoth was present at the event to demonstrate Circle to Search's latest features, which were unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Google leaders, including Jenny Blackburn and Rick Osterloh, joined the stage to showcase the capabilities of Gemini AI in conjunction with the Circle to Search function seen on the newest foldable devices.

To activate the Gemini AI, users can either say "Hey, Google" or swipe from the corner of the screen. Consider watching a random YouTube video, for example; they can look for the latest "Ask about this video" recommendation.

Users can see the video on one side of the foldable screen and check the Gemini suggestion on the other because the Galaxy Z Fold 6 enables split screen viewing. In the upcoming months, owners of foldable screens will be able to access this new feature.

Conversely, Circle to Search arrived on the majority of Android phones in the beginning of the year. It featured homework assistance for pupils as well as translation skills. Circle to Search will be incorporating more advanced topics, such as symbolic math, to assist students become autonomous problem solvers. When a question is posed, the program will provide step-by-step problem-solving methods rather than only projecting the solution.

Circle to Search will eventually bring capabilities like the ability to scan QR codes and barcodes on your devices in addition to the new feature.

YouTube TV members will be able to multi-view on the high-end Galaxy Z Fold 6. Similar to Google TV, it will let viewers watch four streams simultaneously. According to the company's introduction blog post, users "can choose from pre-selected combinations of football, news, weather, and simultaneous sporting events."

During the Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra. These smartwatches will be the first to come pre-installed with Google's most recent Wear OS 5 operating system. The search engine behemoth revealed the new OS's improved battery life and performance at Google I/O in May.
