Garmin's New Lily 2 Wristwatch has Updated Exercise and Sleep Features

  • 18-February-2024

Garmin has returned with the second-generation Lily smartwatch, available in two variants: Lily 2 and Lily 2 Classic, three years after the original model's release.

The Lily's construction has been enhanced, but Garmin hasn't altered the design. The new Lily 2 and Lily 2 Classic both have aluminum cases and bezels, while the first-generation model was made of plastic.

The sleep and fitness tracking features of the new Lily watches are also slightly improved over the first-generation model.

The Sleep Score app, which isn't compatible with the Lily smartwatch, assigns a number to each sleep quality and provides tips for improving it. Together with your heart rate, stress level, and breathing, it also keeps track of the various stages of sleep.

The Garmin Lily 2 now supports 18 sports profiles when it comes to fitness tracking. Compared to the first-generation model's 13 profiles, this is an increase.

Afrobeat, Bollywood, EDM, hip-hop, and other dance genres are all tracked by Dance Fitness, a new profile.

The Lily 2 Classic is the only device that supports Garmin Pay. The other two new features are incident detection safety alerts for specific activities.

Pricing and availability

Both the Lily 2 and Lily 2 Classic are currently on sale. The Lily 2 Classic costs between S$429 and S$459. The Lily 2 is priced at S$379.

Available on Amazon, Lazada, and Shopee are the Lily 2 and Lily 2 Classic.
