For a well-liked smartwatch that was released more than 18 months ago, Garmin has released a new update. With bug fixes and update packages for Text and Mobile language packs, the update brings the smartwatch up to Firmware Version 2.64.
A new firmware update for the Venu Sq 2 has been released, three months after Firmware Version 2.59 was stable. Recap: Firmware Version 2.59 improved BLE and ANT+ connectivity and added support for Garmin's Connect IQ service. It came after Firmware Version 2.53. Firmware Version 2.59 also included a number of other enhancements, like the ability to operate a bike light using just one camera.
Firmware Version 2.64, which the company says has now reached 100% rollout, has been distributed. On the other hand, you can download Firmware Version 2.64 via Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM) if your Venu Sq 2 is still running an older build. Version 2.64 of the smartwatch's firmware focuses on bug fixes, whereas the previous update brought about many improvements.
The updated version is specifically supposed to fix a problem with VO2 Max reading. Additionally, according to Garmin, System Stability is Improved by Firmware Version 2.64, though not in all areas. Additionally, the Text Languages 1.17 and Mobile Languages 1.09 update packs are included with the latest firmware upgrade.
