The stable Nothing OS 3.0, which is based on Android 15, has finally been released. It contains new features and more intelligent, sharing interactions.
Nothing OS 3.0 was formally released in November, following the start of its beta. Samsung is delaying its Android 15 updates, which is a smart move that gives Nothing an opportunity to shine. Through the end of the year, the Phone 2 and 2a will continue to receive Nothing OS 3.0.
Nothing released a redesigned Gallery app with suggestions, useful editing features like markup and filters, and sophisticated search along with the OS debut.
AI is used in Nothing OS 3.0 to improve your experience. It prioritizes your favorite apps for quicker access and more seamless operation, and it cleverly arranges the app drawer for simpler app discovery.
Additionally, the Shared Widgets beta offers a new way to remain in touch by enabling you to communicate with loved ones directly from your personalized lock screen. However, you can only share square Photo Widgets and Shared Widgets are only compatible with Nothing devices.
To aid in time management, Nothing OS 3.0 also includes some useful productivity widgets, such as the Countdown Widget. Additionally, your apps are automatically sorted by the AI-powered Smart Drawer, which makes it simpler to locate and access anything.
You also have a ton of choices for customizing the lock screen. For a more polished experience, it also enhances Quick Settings, Pop-up view, graphics, and typography.
Simply go to Settings > System Update on your Phone 2 or Phone 2a to get the update. It should appear in a few days if it hasn't already. By the end of 2024, the stable version of Nothing OS 3.0 will be available to all users.
More low-cost phones from Nothing will progressively receive the stable Nothing OS 3.0 update. It should arrive in early 2025 if you currently own a Nothing Phone 1, Phone 2a Plus, or CMF Phone 1.
