The business that makes phones under the Nokia brand, HMD Global, may introduce the Skyline, a new mid-range smartphone. The information was obtained from a Finnish magazine, which stated that the phone will be on sale in July and hit store shelves on July 10.

The Skyline, which is expected to cost €520, will be positioned as HMD's more expensive option. It will come with dual-SIM compatibility, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a black color option. According to reports, the gadget is a TA-1688 model.

Other than this, not much information has been made public on the gadget. However, it is thought that the Skyline was formerly known as Tomacat. If so, it should have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC-powered FHD+ OLED display with a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Skyline is most likely going to have three cameras on its back: a macro or depth sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a 108MP primary sensor. There will be a 32MP camera available for taking selfies.

Additionally, a 4,900mAh battery with 33W rapid charging, IP67 dust and water protection, and Android 14 pre-installed are anticipated features of the phone. It will also include stereo speakers and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

It's also that HMD is developing Nighthawk, a new gadget, for individuals looking for something more affordable. Launching for less than €300 is anticipated.

Although the Nighthawk is said to have a less potent Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC than the Skyline, it will nonetheless have the same FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will include 128GB or 256GB of storage capacity in addition to 8GB of RAM.

In addition, the Nighthawk will keep its 32MP selfie camera and have a 108MP primary camera with one more back sensor. The 5,000mAh battery will be marginally bigger. Both devices will run Android 14, and the Nighthawk—which is noteworthy—will have dual speakers and a headphone port.
