  • 20-April-2024

The first smartwatch on the market with built-in turn-by-turn navigation powered by Mappls MapmyIndia at this price point is the Storm Call 3, which was introduced by Indian wearables brand boAt.

With the Storm Call 3, you can get exact, up-to-the-door directions without having to check your phone thanks to its unique, self-contained navigation system. With the help of boAt's Crest app and Mappls MapmyIndia's extensive mapping data, it provides precise, in-depth guidance over tens of thousands of Indian cities and lakhs of villages.

Another clever feature of the Storm Call 3 is the QR Tray function, which lets you store and retrieve QR codes straight from your watch for everyday use or travel.

But navigation is just one of the many features. The Storm Call 3 features a 550-nit square dial with a 240*296 resolution and a variety of downloadable or customisable watch faces via the DIY Watch Face Studio. With Bluetooth calling support, a sensitive microphone, and clear onboard speaker, you can make directly from your wrist.

The smartwatch also has a number of sensors that track energy levels, offer personalized sleep scores, and continuously monitor heart rate, SpO2 levels, and sleep quality. Sedentary alerts and daily activity trackers promote mobility and an active lifestyle. Users can create personalized run plans, access wellness crews, gamification, fitness buddies, and badges via the Crest app.

With over 700 activity tracking modes and the ability to adjust to personal lifestyle preferences, the Storm Call 3 can effectively support your fitness goals by providing specialized modes for different workouts like cycling, swimming, yoga, and running. Its sturdy IP67 construction protects against damage from sweat, water, and dust.

Affordably priced at Rs 1,099, the boAt Storm Call 3 comes in four colors: Cherry Blossom, Active Black, Olive Green, and Silver Metal. It offers an extensive feature set.
