An updated list of all 2024 Space Coast rocket launches from Florida is provided here

The Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station are located on Florida's Space Coast, which is expected to break the recently set 2023 annual record of 72 orbital rocket launches this year. The majority of these missions will be carried out by SpaceX's reliable Falcon 9.

The list of 2024 launches that Cape Canaveral has already conducted is as follows:

1. The Ovzon-3

On January 3, at 6:04 p.m., CCSFS Launch Complex 40 saw the launch of an Ovzon-3 communications satellite from a SpaceX Falcon 9.

Ovzon-3: The SpaceX Ovzon-3 satellite mission will launch for the first time from Space Coast in 2024.

2. Starlink 6-35 from SpaceX

At CCSFS Launch Complex 40, SpaceX launched a batch of Starlink internet-beaming satellites on a Falcon 9 at 5:35 p.m. on January 7. Remark: The historic United Launch Alliance Vulcan launch took place just eight hours and forty-three minutes prior to the liftoff.

3. The first flight of a ULA Vulcan Cert-1

The next-generation Vulcan rocket from United Launch Alliance successfully completed its first certification flight on January 8 at 2:18 a.m. from KSC pad 39A.

4. Starlink 6-37 SpaceX SpaceX

A batch of Starlink internet-beaming satellites was launched by SpaceX from CCSFS Launch Complex 40 on January 14 at 8:52 p.m. aboard a Falcon 9.

Starlink 6-37: On Sunday, SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket; on Wednesday, an Axiom Space crewed mission is scheduled.

5. Crewed Ax-3 mission

At 4:49 p.m. on January 18, Axiom Space launched its third crew of private astronauts to the International Space Station from KSC pad 39A using a SpaceX Dragon capsule and Falcon 9.

Ax-3: Four European private astronauts are lifted for an International Space Station rendezvous by the Ax-3 mission.
