The upcoming Zepp OS 3.5 update for owners of Cheetah, Falcon, and T-Rex Ultra smartwatches will include extra functionality, according to Amazfit. A beta program announcement revealed the first batch of features. The most recent assortment comprises hiking, cycling, and nighttime use items.

More details regarding the impending Zepp OS 3.5 update for the Falcon, T-Rex Ultra, Cheetah Pro, and Cheetah (Round) smartwatches have been released by Amazfit. The company's announcement of a beta testing program for this most recent software provided the first information regarding the change.

The availability of Zepp Flow 1.4 on the Falcon and T-Rex Ultra smartwatches has been verified by Amazfit; however, in order to utilize the voice assistant, users will need to pair their devices with Bluetooth headphones that have an integrated microphone. Amazfit has introduced the feature of vibrating to alert you if you stray off the path, adding to the turn-by-turn reminders for navigation that may already knew about and could utilize for hiking. Alongside a picture showing a feature that changed the color of the screen without prior notice—you could choose between a red, orange, or green display to preserve your night vision and prevent glare—a picture of the new contour line maps has been provided (below).

Bicyclists now have support for a speedometer, however a list of devices that work with it is still lacking. A readiness score will also be available in the Zepp OS 3.5 program, and Zepp Coach will adjust your training schedule based on that number. In addition, there will be a new user interface and support for heart rate variability monitoring on the watches. The Falcon, T-Rex Ultra, and Cheetah series smartwatches will receive Zepp OS 3.5 updates in the next weeks.
