A HUGE SUCCESS AT CES 2024, THIS RABBIT R1 AI SMARTWATCH IS

With the constant advancement of smartphone technology and the frequent release of new models every other week, most of us believe that there is no turning back. With a portable Rabbit that won over many CES attendees this year, this idea might be about to change. Called the R1, this AI-assisted walkie-talkie substitute was developed by Rabbit, a startup, in association with Teenage Engineering.

The screen, camera, and scroll wheel of this retro-styled personal assistant are half the size of an iPhone 15, offering a less complicated and distracting way to use technology. A designer was astounded by the R1's retro appeal and over 10,000 buyers have been won over by its unassuming simplicity. The Rabbit's designer has made it a wearable AI watch by adding wearable convenience.

The primary reason for transforming the personal voice assistant into a wearable is to do away with the necessity of carrying an additional device in one's pocket, regardless of its size. The aptly named Rabbit R1 AI Watch will improve portability without sacrificing the original design's distinctiveness.

In light of this, the designer decided to stick with the bold orange color scheme to maintain the retro feel. With features like a camera, control wheel, speakers, microphones, and the innovative push-to-speak button, the wrist-worn voice assistant has the same square dial.

The main selling point of the Rabbit R1 is its redesigned wearable, which keeps the sim card slot intact and lets the watch work without a smartphone. The concept of the watch adheres to the philosophy of the app-less handheld AI assistant, which transports back to a time when using a phone was easy.

It is powered by the Rabbit OS, which enables it to perform routine tasks like utilizing the Rabbit's exclusive Large Action Model (LAM) AI model to check out groceries or order Uber. Because LAM is flexible, it can interact and learn new tasks and applications that you want it to. Although the AI Watch's specs are unknown, assume that when it is released, it will have roughly the same 4 gigabytes of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 2.3GHz MediaTek processor as the Rabbit R1, which served as inspiration.
