The updated 2025 Chevy Spin will make its Brazilian debut very soon, General Motors has announced, three months after announcing that the updated model will feature OnStar connectivity in Brazil.
According to GM Brazil, the updated 2025 Chevy Spin will be the first of six Chevrolet launches in the largest nation in South America this year. This country is also the birthplace and only location for production of the subcompact multipurpose vehicle under the Bow Tie brand. According to the company, the revised Spin will actually be available for purchase in Brazil in the first quarter of 2019.
The updated 2025 Chevy Spin will undergo a significant makeover that includes a revised exterior with the brand's latest global design cues, a completely redesigned cabin with next-generation technologies, and additional security features, as GM Authority exclusively hinted at early last year. Rather than being a complete redesign, the new Spin's modifications represent a comprehensive update to the existing model.
From an aesthetic standpoint, the primary innovation of the updated 2025 Chevy Spin is anticipated to be a new front-end design that borrows styling cues from the all-new Chevy Seeker/Trax. This includes a Y-shaped grille that highlights the front fascia's edges, LED daytime running lights positioned higher, and headlights integrated into the bumper. There will also be modifications to the liftgate design and new taillamps arranged horizontally on the rear fascia.
The 2025 Chevy Spin will, however, have a completely redesigned interior with the newest technology available from the brand. This will include a new dual-screen module mounted on the dash that combines a touchscreen infotainment system with a digital instrument cluster. The interior makeover will also include new seats, a new steering wheel, and additional equipment; to boost performance, a new powertrain option may be added.
At the end of the first quarter, the updated 2025 Chevy Spin will make its dealership debut in Brazil, where it will be unveiled as part of the brand's first launch of the year during the broadcast of Big Brother Brasil in the coming weeks. To meet the needs of both the local market and neighboring nations, the revised MPV will still be produced at the GM São Caetano do Sul facility.
