2024, Bajaj Pulsar 220F was Launched with new Graphics and Digital Cluster

  • 26-April-2024

The addition of a new fully digital instrument cluster, derived from the Pulsar N160, is the most significant update. Turn-by-turn navigation is made possible by the Bluetooth connectivity of this particular display. The installation of new switchgear, which is required to access the different display menus on the instrument cluster, is the other upgrade.

In addition to this, the new 2024 Pulsar 220F receives new graphics and decals, as well as a USB charging socket that is tastefully integrated into the fairing directly next to the instrument cluster. It is almost Rs. 2,500 more expensive than before, priced at Rs. 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).

The 220cc air/oil-cooled engine, which produces 18.55 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm and 20.11 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm, will continue to power the 2024 model. As anticipated, there have been no revisions made to the mechanical department. A 5-speed gearbox that has undergone significant improvement over time is mated to this engine.

Although the new Pulsar range has been introduced, the Pulsar 220F continues to sell well. Among the Pulsar range's best-selling motorbikes, it continues to enjoy strong demand in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. The Pulsar 220F has become so much of a cult classic that Bajaj India was forced to bring it back in February 2023 after discontinuing it in April 2022.

With the introduction of the all-new Pulsar 250F and 250N, which had greater power, torque, and better hardware, Bajaj announced in April 2022 that they would be retiring the Pulsar 220F. When combined with its long wheelbase and excellent engine, which still produces that iconic "Pulsar-y" grunt throughout the rev range, the Pulsar 220F remains one of the best mile munchers in the nation even though it was not a very strong performer in straight-line drag races and lacked the chassis to support cornering.

Although the handle is slightly forward-set, requiring you to lean forward in order to grasp the bike sufficiently, the seats are incredibly comfortable and the rider's triangle is nearly ideal for a comfortable riding position. All of this is still present in the current Bajaj Pulsar 220F, although it also gains new features, new graphics, and decals.
