Based in Venice Venezianico created a bronze version of its Nereide dive watch, drawing inspiration from the city's well-known Horses of St. Mark bronze statues.

Bronze was considered a valuable material by Venetian artisans because of the horse statues that originated in ancient Greece and were housed at the Basilica of St. Mark in the thirteenth century.

The brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli, who founded Venezianico as a means of expressing their shared love of timepieces and the enduring allure of their childhood home, are contemporary Venetian artisans.

With a dark grey dial that transitions to black around the edges, the 42mm Nereide Bronze divers' watch is designed to withstand 300 meters of water pressure.

Encased in a closed steel caseback adorned with an image of the St. Marks Horses, it is driven by an automatic movement, the Sellita SW200-1.

It comes on a rubber strap, but an optional handmade leather strap (€85) is also available. The handmade leather strap features decorations in Latin that are derived from the Basilica of St. Mark's mosaics from the 13th century.
